Through our holistic approach to caring for you and our dedication to learning, we pioneer carefully researched new treatments, technology, and products to help ensure eye health.

Dr. Marie was born and raised in Calgary. She completed her optometry prerequisites at the University of Alberta before moving to Florida to complete her Bachelor of Vision Science and her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. She completed a variety of rotations with focuses on dry eye, myopia control and contact lenses. During her time as an intern at Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute, Dr. Marie gained knowledge in diagnosing and managing ocular disease. She has volunteered in her community to raise awareness about diabetes and the impact that it has on eye health. Dr. Marie is committed to helping patients learn about their eyes, providing thorough care, and treating dry eye disease. When she’s not in the oNice, you can find her with her head in a book, travelling, and trying out new restaurants. She has also been playing the violin since childhood.

The treatment uses a natural, okra-based gel to remove oil, debris, and residue from the eyelid margins and lashes. By improving eyelid hygiene, ZEST can help reduce the buildup that may contribute to irritation and inflammation around the eyes.
