Mission
We are passionate about your eyes, and about building long-lasting relationships. Our goal is to ensure your eyes remain healthy throughout your life. We are all about service, love, kindness and a belief in strong community. Through our holistic approach to caring for you and our dedication to learning, we pioneer carefully researched new treatments, technology, and products to help ensure eye health.

As of June 14, 2022, all mandatory public health restrictions have been lifted in the province of Alberta. Your health and safety continue to be our highest priorities and to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible, we would like to share some safety measures that our clinic will continue to implement during your upcoming visit.

Our office safety measures include:

The entire optometry office underwent a complete disinfection procedure that decontaminated all surfaces in our space. The Clorox 360 dry mist atomizer was used to apply a dry particle disinfectant mist to all surfaces, equipment, furniture, counters, display cases and touch points in the clinic.

During your visit:

Hand sanitizers are located at all counters and critical touch areas for patients to use. While it is not required, we recommend wearing a mask to your appointment as you may find yourself at a close distance from our Optometrists during eye examinations. Our team members will continue to wear masks in the clinic, as advised by the Alberta College of Optometrists.

Upon completion of check-in, our assistant will complete all pre-testing and you will then be seen by our Optometrist. We clean each exam room with disinfectant including any items that are commonly touched, including exam tables, chairs, pens, and doorknobs before and after each patient visit and at the end of each day. Diligent hand washing/sanitizing will be done before and after each patient. We have undergone additional training for our staff so they can deliver the safest possible environment for you, our clients.

Appointments are no longer required to browse our eyewear selection. However, we do recommend calling ahead of time to ensure that one of our optical staff will be available to help you select the best pair of glasses. We will continue to disinfect frames after every patient. When picking up your glasses, we highly recommend making an appointment so that one of our optical staff can make the correct adjustments to the glasses while you are wearing them.

You also have the option to purchase eye care products, restock your contact lens supply and browse our frame collection at the convenience of your own home, using our online store! Eyecare products and contact lenses can be shipped directly to your doorstep.

These measures have been taken to help us deliver a safe experience for everyone. We look forward to seeing you very soon.

With Love from the Eyedeology Team

Other than being examined by one of our Optometrists or team members, please try to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet from all other persons.

All of our staff are equipped with PPE masks and gloves. We have installed enhanced hand washing materials for our staff and patients. Diligent hand washing/sanitizing will be done before and after each patient. We have undergone additional training for our staff so they can deliver the safest possible environment for you, our clients.

Our Optician will help you select glasses and sunglasses and order your contact lenses. We will be disinfecting frames after each selection. Contact lenses can be delivered to the convenience of your home.

These measures have been taken to help us deliver a safe experience for everyone. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
