Vision Therapist Pia Tan, an accredited Vision Therapist through the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy (PVT) Program, to our team. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. With over a decade of experience in vision therapy, Pia has been a dedicated professional since 2010, consistently advancing her expertise through Vision Therapy Canada and the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEP).
Pia will be working closely with our Optometrists to design customized, personalized vision therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Her extensive experience spans working with clients of all ages dealing with binocular vision dysfunction, strabismus, amblyopia, learning-related visual challenges, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion-related vision issues.
In addition to her expertise in these areas, Pia is also trained in primitive reflexes, yoked prisms, sports vision enhancement, and syntonics, which are innovative approaches we’re now incorporating into our expanded vision therapy offerings. She is currently accepting new referrals and patients, and we look forward to the positive impact Pia’s skill and compassion will bring to our patients’ vision therapy journeys.
