The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an increase in time spent indoors and screentime here in Alberta. With the increase in time spent indoors looking at digital devices and doing near work, there is a rise among young children being diagnosed with myopia (near-sightedness) in addition to digital eye strain and dry eyes.
