Early detection is the key to prevention at EyedeologyTM.  The Cirrus HD-OCT helps our Optometrists to diagnose and monitor retinal and optic nerve problems before any avoidable, permanent damage is done.  The high quality and accuracy of the scans provide information on your eyes that is unavailable with any other technology.  For our Optometrists, a detailed understanding of your eyes is essential to safeguard your vision for many years to come.

The Cirrus HD-OCT never touches your eye so there is no discomfort.   It is safe and requires only a few minutes of your time.  Our eye doctors are able to clearly see the internal structures of your eye. Problems can be treated before they progress as year after year we are able to monitor progression and analyse with other technology such as our retinal image and visual field. 

Retina and Optic Nerve

The OCT uses direct cross sectional imaging to look directly at a “cutaway” view of the layers of the retina and optic nerve to accurately measure their characteristics.   Other machines show the surface of these structures but the Cirrus OCT shows us what is below the surface.  The Cirrus HD-OCT is essential for monitoring various retinal conditions and glaucoma.

Deep Cleansing for Healthier Eyelids and Lashes
